Four U.S. soldiers were killed in combat on the eve of the withdrawal of American troops from Baghdad and other Iraq cities, the U.S. military said, as Iraqi forces on Tuesday assumed control for security in urban areas.

The withdrawal that was completed on Monday is part of a U.S.-Iraqi security pact and marks the first major step toward withdrawing all American forces from the country by Dec. 31, 2011. President Barack Obama has said all combat troops will be gone by the end of August 2010. The Iraqi government has named June 30 “National Sovereignty Day” and declared a public holiday.

A passenger jet from Yemen with 153 people on board crashed in the Indian Ocean early Tuesday as it tried to land during heavy wind on the island nation of Comoros, a Yemeni aviation official said.

A freight train derailed in the middle of the night in northern Italy, setting off an explosion and a fire that killed at least 13 people and sent 50 others to the hospital, many with severe burns, officials said today. A train car filled with liquefied natural gas exploded, collapsing at least two buildings and setting fire to a vast area. Homes collapsed or burned, killing residents as they slept. Some of the victims, including a child, were killed in their homes, Two drivers on the road alongside the tracks when the train derailed were also killed. Others suffered severe burns and died at the hospital.

Iran confirmed hard-liner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as president and said a row over his June 12 re-election was over, leaving opponents who cried foul with few options.

Honduras‘ interim government battled on Tuesday against a tide of international support for ousted President Manuel Zelaya who vowed to return home after troops toppled and exiled him in a coup. The Honduran capital Tegucigalpa was mostly quiet by Monday night after hundreds of Zelaya supporters clashed during the day with riot police and troops to demand his return to power in one of the world’s major coffee producers.

HAPPY 35th BIRTHDAY TO ME….

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 30, 2009

Great, now i’m a year older than yesterday. It means the world is really spinning around. no doubt about it. every minutes counts on its own. I just want things to go back to normal. I try to ignore it everyday, say to myself that it will get better forever..stop e madness. But so far, I haven’t been able to grounded myself long enough. I tried to get her to understand how bad this feels, but so far no success. I just wish when i tell her and she could understand what I’m talking about. She’s orthodox i can say really, not much changes since we’re married for 6 years now.

You either hate me or you love me, you can’t have both. I won’t let you anyway. and please tell me things will be better someday,  tell me we’ll survive this, I can’t do it alone honey. Take me away from this pain..let me feel your anger. even though you’d hurt my feeling so bad, but I still can’t help but to love you all the same. Ashamed of my past, and scared of days to come. I wish I could let you see, the pain burning inside of me. I can’t let it out, cause i can’t let you be a part of it. Sure I kept to myself, only to protect you.

Dear Mamanoni, there’s something I must know. Why is it you say you love me if we both know it isn’t true? I guess I’ll keep wondering, Aren’t you the one for me?. I’ll just sit here alone, heart torn in two. Thinking of the love, the love we’ll never have. Not with you.

Happy Birthday to me…

“Dear Angel, now you know how i feel…it’s just like that. Me and Mamanoni, We’re not really together. There’s no love..just an institution run by me.”

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 30, 2009

Beberapa projek ketentuan Allah
Dalam Islam, ada Hari Pembalasan (Maalikiyau middiin). Allahlah Yang Maha Berkuasa di hari pembalasan nanti. Baik pun dibalas. Jahat pun dibalas.

Politik negara makin maju setapak sekiranya

FIFA Confederation Cup – Substitute Daniel Alves broke South African hearts with an 87th-minute free-kick for Brazil that dumped the hosts out of the Confederations Cup with a narrow semi-final victory. Brazil will play USA in the final on 28th June 2009  in Johannesburg.

At Wimbledon, Ana Ivanovic recaptured some of the form that saw her through to the Wimbledon semi-finals two years ago with a straight sets win over Sara Errani of Italy. Andy Roddick was his usual powerful self against Igor Kunitsyn, serving strongly and keeping his errors to a minimum. The Russian had no real answer to the number six seed’s array of shots and went down in four sets. Jelena Jankovic booked her third round spot by breezing past Iveta Benesova 6-2, 6-4, she will face Venus in e quarter final later.

Dinara Safina lived up to her No.1 billing by making short work of Rossana de los Rios, winning 6-2, 7-5 in just over an hour to move into the third round, thus equalling her best showing at Wimbledon. French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova had her foot on the accelerator from the start as she booked her place in the third round with a straight sets win over Pauline Parmentier.

Here’s e pics of some players who had her best Wimbledon show :-

MICHAEL JACKSON is dead..Mourning a Legend

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 26, 2009

KING OF POP – R.I.P MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON (29/8/1958 – 25/6/2009)

King of pop MICHAEL JACKSON died last night after a massive heart attack. He collapsed and stopped breathing after an injection of a powerful painkiller named Demerol. He was said to be addicted to the drug – similar to morphine – and it is feared he took an overdose. Paramedics who raced to his Los Angeles home after an emergency call found he had no pulse. And frantic attempts to revive him failed.

The world of entertainment has suffered a great loss, the biggest since the death of ELVIS PRESLEY.

The emergency 911 call came in at 12.21pm (8.21pm BST) at his Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles. He was then taken to the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Centre. Once at the hospital, staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive. He was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation and was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home.

Michael Jackson was a trailblazer, to say an icon would only give these young people in Harlem a fraction of what he was. He was a historic figure that people will measure music and the industry by. He has sold more single products than any other artist and no one could drag him down for that. I hope Michael will be given the respect he was due.

“Michael, now you no longer with us, it is very sad. You leave behind the biggest legacy and you have been a huge part to all fans around the globe. You were loved by a lot of people and you will always be in our hearts .. now you can go and sing with Elvis in heaven or hell. I was brought up listening to your music then by the time i was a teenager it was only Michael, I was always a fan of your music and always will be, You’re a pure genius and a legend who’s music will live on forever.” – A Tribute by Earley a.k.a Chulalongkorn VII

Maria is out!!!! and Spain too..

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 25, 2009

Maria Sharapova is out of Wimbledon. Perhaps that is worth repeating: Maria Sharapova will play no further part in the 123rd Wimbledon Championships. The crowd favourite and 2004 champion was beaten in three fraught and painful sets by Gisela Dulko 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round, her worst result here since – well, since here last year. Of course, she has only been back in action for just over a month after surgery on a long-term shoulder injury. Still feeling her way back, she is nowhere near her best yet.

Elsewhere on the courts of Wimbledon, it was a largely routine day. Leading lights Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Elena Dementieva advanced with the minimum of fuss. Roger Federer? he’s far too good for Garcia Lopez…as for my fav Ana Ivanovic, she managed to win her first match to face S. Errani later today. Wish her to win this year’s tournament. Can she do it?

Sometimes football is a funny thing. The U.S. soccer team is in the final of the Confederations Cup, beating mighty Spain 2-0. The world will surely take notice of this. Even more stunning, the Americans were on the verge of elimination and ready to head home last weekend before a reversal of fortune made them to semis. Goalkeeper Tim Howard, who made eight saves as he frustrated David Villa and Fernando Torres. Who says about unbeatable Spain? not anymore!!

Once Today

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 24, 2009

Today might surely gonna be my day after puffin ‘usin’ in front of e tv this morning. send the kids to their nanny at 9;30 making my way to office. Madujung called. asking to join him at his place..Adam also keep calling me begging for ‘Meth-a-done’ to stop e madness he’s facing right now. i know how exactly feel e terrible consequences resulted from his own mistake he made in life.

Yesterday, i went passed her office building. Heading to Uni.Asia Tower at Jln Sultan Ismail. i almost lost when i thought e building was near KFC building there, but i was wrong. It’s opposite the street of Maju Junction just across. shuttt!!! Wonder if we really gonna make out something far beyond imagination while we totally awake. Like wot? like seeing each other again, the good old days…people say that love can conquer the mountain.

As time almost 1 pm, i was already at Pej Penerangan PAS Pusat Jln Pahang. Haslam Restaurant nearby used to be e place where many PAS members even e top rank MP being held for no reason..ahh, to hell wit e government.

After work, i met Madujung at D’Penara. Jep was there at Pok Oks with his 2 supplier friend. Ate nasi goreng puffin’ ‘Usin’. not while, came Pendy to get his stock. He was actually my buddy before introduced him to Jep. now he go directly to Jep. Night at home..Alan, Kak Long went to sleep earlier that night. Mamanoni still mad at me for no reason at all..why r woman these day seems hard to understand our body language..now we have to tell them in their face!!

At 11 am, my destination: Kuang Rock Products, Wisma IJM, Petaling Jaya. Madujung called, he sounds like he need a help or something..i drove to his house immediately. He told me that he had big fight wit his wife last night. and he actually land a backhand to her cause he said that he couldn’t stand anymore. Gud lord..(i am a great listener, you can all shout out at me to let it go..).

At Penara, we have lunch, a ‘Nasi Ayam’ wit Iced Tea. Adam came and join us at e table. After that they suggested to roll another puff of ‘usin’ only this time at my place. Mamanoni was at work so ‘line clear’….after a while, Jep came at my door and join us with ‘another brick at e wall’. Too bad i got to run back to e office after Mamanoni called asking me to get Nabila’s mom to verify Pre School Form for Kak Long to roll into an empty slot left by one kid at school. Well i also got many thinking jobs to manage at e office somehow!. this is ‘Once Today’

Manchester United

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 23, 2009

Next season of Premier League, the club anticipates few major changes with Ronaldo expected to complete his world record £80 million transfer to Real Madrid next week and Tevez disappointingly, however, informed the club that he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United and he had rejected a £25.5 million (RM145 million) permanent transfer to the club. The hell is he thinking!?..Playing for City? Uh..sigh

Now, only Rooney & Berbatov would partner upfront with Benzema to sign then it can only allow Carrick, AndersonFletcher & Hargreaves to have full control of midfield leaving the back four of Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra & O’Shea to make sure Van der Sar able to rest since he was quite old, making Ben Foster the fine replacement afterall. Well..we could be Champion Again with this lads!!! could we?

Our subs remains as danger and they are Zoran Tosic, Park, Nani, Scholes, Giggs, Welbeck, Rafael, Neville, Evans, Macheda and few others as well. Maybe Sir Alex will sign a few more players. The team needs 2 more strikers, a left winger, an attacking midfielder and a holding “boss” midfielder.

Wimbledon Round up

Posted by chulalongkorn on June 23, 2009

Russia’s Maria Sharapova gathered her poise after a poor start to claim a 7-5 6-4 victory over Ukrainian qualifier Viktoriya Kutuzova and a place in the second round. She will face Argentina’s Gisela Dulko for a place in the third round.

In another match, Slovakia’s Daniela Hantuchova extinguished 15-year-old schoolgirl Laura Robson’s hopes of making it to the second round with a 3-6 6-4 6-2 win. She will play either China’s 16th seed and semi-finalist last year Zheng Jie or Kristina Barrois of Germany for a place in the third round.

In men’s event, five-time champion Roger Federer overcame an early hiccup to book a place in the second round with a 7-5 6-3 6-2 win over Taiwan’s Lu Yen-hsun. The Swiss world number two will face Spain’s Guillermo Garcia-Lopez for a place in round three. American James Blake became the first seeded casualty when he lost 7-5 6-4 7-6 to Italy’s Andreas Seppi.
